Hello Islay (pronounced eye la)

So goodbye Arran and our accomodation.

Then a small drive and 2 ferries we get to the island of Islay.

I think our timing is good as clouds were getting dark over Arran as we drove onto the first car ferry

This took us to the mainland, then a short drive to our bigger ferry to Islay. Islay looks considerably flatter.

Then a short drive to Bowmore, the small town with a fishing harbour and distillery.

Our self contained unit (Stillmans Cottage) was part of the distillery and very comfortable.
