Where are we going today guys? |
I can show you
From our window we see it is not raining although there are menacing clouds. But we find another hairy coo in a nearby paddock and take it as a good Oman.
We follow the coast past spectacular coastline through to John O'groats.
Most roads only one lane wide with small passing spots, and lots of campers to tackle. I think the campers are breeding!
The campervans are an introduced species which are taking over large areas once inhabited by sheep. Initially introduced to drive through large swarms of Midges to control their population but they have learnt to avoid roads. At there present rate of growth they could become Scotlands number one pest.
We reach the northern point of Scotland mainland, John O'groats.
It is windy and I am glad I am not wearing my kilt!
Out to the light house
Then the little town itself, what there is of it.
