Back in the bus and a slow drive to Killarney.
Along the back roads, each villiage have a number of drinking holes
A quick stop at Dunguaire Castle, a semi working castle which does the occassional banquet with traditional clothing etc.
Then a quick stop at Corcomroe Abbey remains. It was founded for Cistercian monks around 1195
Onward we travel over rocky landscapes.
Past the small town of Lisdoonvarna, home of the famous Willy Daly. Matchmaker of Ireland
From here the Cliffs of Moher. Rather spectacular coast but will let the pictures do the talking.
Reshoot the above with camera zoom on full, it was pushing the camera but got my picture of a Puffin bird.
Ferry ride across the Shannon river, then home for 3 nights at Killarney.
Time for a quick drink at the Shire.
