So early start with a drive to Edinburgh.
We were just so impressed with the countryside driving past many small Loch's (lakes). First break was Falls of Dochart which prosped from the wares made from a mill.
Next planned stop Sterling castle. Mmm things don't always go to plan. Drove into sterling and could see the castle on the hill but not the road to get there and the traffic was kaos. Let's skip this one. Onto the Falkirk water wheel.
A wheel that lifts canal boats 24 meters from one canal to another. Will let the photos do the talking.
Finally as we were in Falkirk, the Kelpies. 30 meter statues dipicting the heavy horses that towed canal boats by rope.
Drop the car off at Edinburgh airport and taxi to our home for the next few days.
