Rubbish!
5am flight from Melbourne and 23 hours 45 minutes later we will land in Glasgow. Check-in 2 hours before hand and 2 hours to clear customs, get bags and get to the hotel. It is not that a small world.
So sorry not much to say about day 1.
First glass of giggle juice was 3:15 am. It was all down hill from there.
The rest of the day was drink sleep eat, drink, eat and watch movies.
Although at one stage I decided I would look after the plane bar.
What's your poison!
Of course to run a successful bar you need a good looking assistant. Organised.
Even if she takes occasional breaks.
I did watch Clint Eastwood’s The Mule, enjoyed the movie.
How the hell did David Nivan fly around the world in 80 days without a bar and in-house movies?
1hour break in Dubai airport, 42 degrees outside.
Dubai to Glasgow,
Great leg, for 4 hours Carol and I spent standing at the on board bar with 4 guys from Glasgow teaching us how to drink whiskey and how to understand Glaswegon.
I think I got 6 out of 10 for whiskey tasting but only 4 out of 10 for knowing what they said.
Carol faired considerably better than me.
Actually the more they talked in their local tongue the more excited Carol seemed to be getting.
